Simon Drew was formerly a biology teacher before he focussed on his skills as an artist and settled in Devon. He is now a renowned artist with an incredible sense of humour and he has a huge following. From his Dartmouth base Simon Drew works mainly in pen and ink. Twisting language until it's facing backwards - he comes up with the most amazing combinations of surreal humour. Simon cites his main influences as Patrick Caulfield, Francis Bacon, Tin Tin and generous quantities of red Bordeaux wine.
